From the Breast Cancer Can Stick It! Board of Directors
Rule of Conduct: As a recognized 501c3 nonprofit, Breast Cancer Can Stick It! has a responsibility to our donors, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to live up to professional standards. As such, all Breast Cancer Can Stick It! board members, committee members and volunteers are required to refrain from the use of illegal drugs of any kind, alcohol abuse and unruly behavior when volunteering at any time, including but not limited to at all events, meetings or gatherings of any type where Breast Cancer Can Stick It! is an exclusive or recognized contributor.
Drummathon, volunteer events, concerts or shows promoting Breast Cancer Can Stick It!, in addition to other non-event volunteer work, are a vital part of our organization. Being as such, there will be a zero tolerance policy for the above listed violations when volunteering in any way, at any time or place. Violators will be required to disengage and/or remove themselves from all Breast Cancer Can Stick It! activities and organizational offices and points of business wherein Breast Cancer Can stick It! activity is being undertaken at the time of any violation. Additionally, at the discretion of the Board, violators maybe be prohibited from volunteering for Breast Cancer Can Stick It! permanently.
Any violation must be observed and noted by two or more members of the Breast Cancer Can Stick It! Board or members of a Breast Cancer Can Stick It! committee, and reasonably assessed to be a violation. If observed by two or more members, the person will be required to disengage and remove themselves from such Breast Cancer Can stick It! activity. Additionally, If any committee or board members witness a person violating these standards, they are required to locate an additional committee or board member to confirm these observations, at which time, the above action will be taken.
These rules are implemented in the best interest of Breast Cancer Can Stick It! Therefore, we thank everybody for adhering to and complying with them.
